Noblesse oblige. Ability obligates.
Master the movement.
Ordered progressions carry you, rung by rung, from where you are today to planche, front lever, and beyond. Free, in invited beta.
A skill tree for the human body.
Most training apps count reps. Oblige charts territory: every superhuman movement is the last rung of an ordered ladder, and every ladder starts within reach. Regression by regression, hold by hold, the path is explicit. And it is yours.
- Planche
- Front lever
- Handstand push-up
- Human flag
- Pistol squat
- Muscle-up
One line of many inside Oblige. Every rung is a real, programmable step. The full tree is yours to explore in the app.
Exactly what was prescribed.
Serious movement work is precise work. Four characters govern every rep: three seconds down, no pause, explosive up, no hold. The bar moves the way it was written.
Eight rep designs
A set is not always three by ten. Down-series after failure, timed holds, descending drop sets, explicit pyramids, timed work with no count at all. Each design has its own logic, its own timer, and its own log.
A library that is a taxonomy, not a list
Every exercise carries its muscles in a hierarchy. File it under obliques, find it under core, with difficulty, movement pattern, coaching cues, scalable variations, and same-muscle alternatives one tap away.
Put the phone down. The session carries you.
Training hands-free was the point all along. Chalk on your hands, upside down, mid-hold: the session keeps moving, and tells you what comes next.
Every exercise is announced before the clock starts: the name, what to do, and the exact prescription. You hear the session; you don’t read it.
Mark a set done, nudge your reps, skip a rest, rate a hold, from the Lock Screen or the long-pressed Dynamic Island, without unlocking.
Wall-clock timers hold through backgrounding and interruptions. Even a crash brings the session back exactly where you left it.
Circuits run round by round with rest woven in, and your previous performance carried set for set.
Sessions record as real workouts in Apple Health, and only if you switch it on.
Every set logs the moment you finish it, connection or not. It syncs when the world comes back.
Kept exactly as performed.
Every session leaves a receipt.
History keeps the whole story: each set in its design’s own terms, month by month, exactly as performed.
Progress photos stay private.
Taken in-app, kept to your account alone. Never shared, never public, gone when you say so.
No streaks. No badges.
The record is the reward. Consistency here is a kept commitment, not a scoreboard.
Three moves to start climbing.

Follow the workout
Each session carries you through every prescription: announced, timed, and logged exactly as written.
Log and level up

Built like a coach thinks.
Oblige started as an authoring studio: rep schemes, tempo notation, ordered cues, and skill progressions as first-class objects, not text fields. If you program for others, we're onboarding a small group of founding coaches now.
Train with us while we build it.
Oblige is free and in beta, running with a small first cohort on iOS and Android. Leave your email and we'll send your invite as seats open. One message, from a person.
No spam. No streaks. One email.
